- greetings
- ask students to watch a video and answer the questions
a). What is the video about?
b). How many activities are there in the video?
c). Why does the girl like playing chess?

- show the picture “ hobby” and lead to the new lesson . “ So, the video is about hobbies. And it’s also the topic of the lesson today”.

1.Set the scene
- show the picture on page 6 and ask some guided questions.



+ Who are they?
+ Where are they?
+ What are they doing?
“ to answer these questions, let’s come to listen and read. But before that we’ll learn some new vocabularies”
2.Pre- teach vocabularies
+ use pictures to teach vocabularies.
